The Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida have become a signature charitable organization to the David Maus Foundation. The David Maus Foundation has underwritten two rooms at the houses for families to stay for 10 years. The Ronald McDonald House of Orlando is a "home-away-from-home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at local hospitals.
Since 1908 the Florida Children’s Hospital has cared for children with life-threatening illnesses and injuries. In the last year alone, Florida Hospital: delivered nearly 10,000 babies, treated 65,000 kids in our Children's Emergency Center and 1,200 in our NICU, helped 55,000 children during Urgent Care Visits , performed 25,000 OP surgeries/procedures and 8,000 IP Discharges and took care of over 55,000 youngsters in our CentraCare Walk-In Medical Centers.
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Though it can occur at any age, most people are diagnosed with Crohn's disease between the ages of 15 and 35.
